The standard evaluation process typically takes 2-4 weeks. Expedited evaluations are available for an additional fee and provide results within 7 business days.


How much does it cost to get certified?


Costs vary depending on the number of products and services requested. The basic structure includes:

  • Application fee: $250 per product

  • Evaluation fee: $1,000 per product (discounts available for multiple products)

  • Annual certification fee: $500-$2,000 per product, depending on business size

What happens if my product doesn’t meet the criteria?

Yes! Once certified, you can display the seal on your product packaging, marketing materials, website, and advertisements to showcase your commitment to quality and transparency.


What happens if I change my product’s formula or packaging?


If your product undergoes reformulation or packaging updates, you’ll need to submit it for a Product Reformulation Review to ensure continued compliance with certification standards.


How long is the certification valid?


The certification is valid for one year. To maintain your certification, you must renew annually by providing updated product information and paying the renewal fee.
